Here is my Midterm Pitch for my Senior Thesis. Things went pretty well and I feel like I finally nailed the story down to a real good place. I do have a bit more things to work on, but I think I am in a real good place.
Concept Statement:
In our beginnings we may not know our true purpose, but as we travel on through life we discover the joy and wonders of the world. And as life may weigh us down sometimes, we only need just the right pick-me-up to carry us to where we truly belong.
Storyline:
We begin our story following a fashionable middle aged as she makes her way out of a clothing store. As she walks down the street her scarf flies off as if it has a life of its own. As we travel with the scarf we see the wonders it views and how it journeys through life. It begins to slum down as it comes to a park and falls to the ground. But as it lies in waiting the wind begins to pick it up and carry it on its journey again. As the scarf gets caught by a taxi cab it is brought back to where it was lost, but lands around the neck off a homeless woman to keep her warm.
